Bring one real problem to the session
The people who get the most out of an hour with us arrive with something specific they are stuck on. Not a topic. A problem, with its detail...
Read moreEveryone who registers gets the recording. It is worth saying plainly what the recording does and does not give you.
We send the recording to everyone who registered, whether or not they made it on the day, and we send it within two working days. Nobody has to ask, and nobody is charged for it.
What the recording gives you is the prepared half: the explanation, the demonstration, the slides. It is the half you can pause, and the half worth passing to a colleague who could not attend.
What it does not give you is your own question answered. The questions in a live session are answered for the person who asked them, with their numbers and their constraints in front of us. Watching someone else's problem being solved is useful. It is not the same as having yours solved.
That is the whole argument for turning up live when you can, and the reason we do not put a paywall in front of the recording for the times you cannot.
