Publishing the practices we rule out is more useful than publishing the ones we claim. A commitment you can check is worth more than a value you have to take on faith.

Every company says it values trust. The claim costs nothing to make, which is exactly why it carries no information. What does carry information is a list of specific things a company has ruled out, published where anyone can hold it against them.

So: no dark patterns. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing, and costs are shown before you commit. We do not make the exit harder than the entrance.

No confirmshaming. You can decline anything without being guilt-tripped for it. Coercing someone through embarrassment is manipulation wearing the costume of copy.

No manufactured urgency. No countdown timers we invented, no scarcity we made up. Pressure engineered into a screen is a lie you can see.

No fake trust signals. No hollow badges, no purchased reviews, no invented endorsements. For a company that sells verification, faking a trust cue is not marketing; it is fraud.

No deliberate confusion. We do not design a screen to be misread in our favour. And no inaccessible design: accessibility is built in from the start, because excluding people is both wrong and worse design for everyone else too.

None of this is a competitive secret. It is published precisely so that it is checkable, and so that breaking it would be visible.
